The Shadow Work Guide - what therapy won't teach you
Inside you’ll discover the tried and true ways of integrating your Shadow, overcoming your trauma, and learning to love yourself for who you are.
Dive deep into your shadow and allow healing through witnessing parts of yourself once deemed too painful to experience. These memories, sensations, and experiences are still stored in your physical body, it's up to you to allow your body to release these experiences by now looking at them through the lens of maturity, understanding and eventually love. Once you allow yourself to let go of the trauma you are storing deep inside of the subconscious mind you can cultivate self-acceptance from an effortless state. Self-love happens automatically when you are no longer forcing yourself to hide your authenticity and vulnerability. Anxiety, depression, addiction, shame, jealousy, chronic pain, anger, etc. are key indicators you have stored trauma you need to release, heal these issues by looking at the root of the problem rather than continuing to ignore that there is a root.

Before you go...
The Shadow is areas of your mind that you cannot access from a Conscious state. It is a conglomeration of the rejected aspects of self as well as the memories of traumatic experiences from your life thus far.
You work on the shadow by looking at what made you who you are today. You will use tools and practices that will allow you to be able to access the shadow to gain more insight.
Even though you do not have access to the shadow self in your waking state, this part of your psyche still has incredible intelligence. The Essential Guide to the Shadow Course begins by asking yourself questions about the upbringing and programming you have received since childhood and then evaluating your belief systems. I feel everyone is ready to begin Shadow Work at any stage of the healing journey because your extremely intelligent Shadow self will not reveal to you anything that you don't have the capacity to heal and integrate.
